This weekend’s topic is “God dwells with His people: The building of the tabernacle” from Exodus 25-40. I encourage you to look through your child’s SOAP booklet because it has the family devotionals called HomeFront Weekly. Each week there are activities and questions to do with your children that help them prepare for coming to church. Helping your child SOAP a short verse is such an easy way for your child to learn to have a devotion time with the Lord. I challenge you to choose one evening a week and make it family devotion night. Yes, there will be major challenges. Yes, there is always a lot going on. Yes, your family might be arguing all afternoon. Open the Bible together and discuss God’s word together and you won’t regret making that time a priority.
This Sunday our Remember Verse is changing to Psalm 136:12 – With a mighty hand and outstretched arm; His love endures forever.
November 13th is our Remember & Celebrate night. We are going to be making Operation Christmas Child boxes together as a service project. You can bring your own items or use some of the provided items we will have in the rooms to make your family’s box. Plan to join your child that night in their Bible study room.
Upward Registration has begun. Here is the link with all the information.
Fall Festival is on October 31st and it starts at 6:30 p.m. We will begin at the North Entrance and start off in the gym with hot dogs and snacks. We will end at the West Foyer with our Upward Basketball team playing basketball and registering participants.
Text to Check-in: On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings you can always check you child in on the way to church by texting the word “check” to 817.900.3074. Follow the link that it sends you and your child’s tags will be waiting for you at the WedgKids Check-in Kiosk in the center foyer.
Looking forward to Sunday and worshiping with you!
