Good News Club
Do you have boundless energy? Are you looking for ways to impact children and their families in your community? If so, volunteer today with Good News Clubs (GNC). GNC are one hour, one day per week programs that take place in seven local elementary schools. A very user friendly curriculum is provided and training is available. For more information, contact Tricia Jernigan at tricia@wedgwoodbc.org.
Here are the locations for the Good News Clubs. ALL clubs will meet from 3:00-4:00. Leaders will need to be there no later than 2:30 to help set up and greet kids.

Preschool VBS Enlistment
| Saddle up partner! It's time for Preschool VBS Enlistment! Ride on up for VBS 2010 (June 7-11) where kids will be ridin' the range and roundin' up questions like, "What is God's plan for me?" and "How can I be like Jesus?" If you can help with Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS this summer with preschoolers, contact Dixie Walker. Age group classrooms and special rotation sites will be the trail this summer, so jump in now! |

Wedgwood 50th Anniversary
Once a Wedgie... We're inviting everyone to attend the 50th Anniversary of Wedgwood Baptist Church! We will have a wonderful time of worship from 10am - noon and then a catered lunch fellowship at Will Rogers. We are looking forward to seeing all Wedgies past and present because... always a Wedgie!
On Saturday, May 1, the church will be open for fellowship from 10am - 6pm. If you would like to visit, take a tour or just visit with old Wedgies come on! If you want to reserve a room for a reunion then contact Myrlene Shirley, myrlene@wedgwoodbc.org
Also, on Sunday morning, May 2, we'll be having a continental breakfast in the CLC, Community Life Center from 8:30 - 9:30am. There will be pictures, memorabilia and friends.
Following the breakfast we will have a wonderful time of worship from 10am - Noon and then a catered lunch fellowship at Will Rogers.. the Round Up Inn room.
The cost for the lunch will be $10 per person ages 6 and up. Kids five and under are $5. Purchase your tickets by clicking here.

Jr. High Believe Conference
| The Jr. High Believe Conference will be March 19-20 at the Arlington Convention Center. The cost is $25 before February 21, after that it is $35. Contact Paul Fisher if interested, or call the youth office at ext. 1304. For more information go to ciy.com/believe. |
Men's Basketball League
| The Wedgwood Men's Basketball League (for men 18 yrs and older) will be March 25 - May 20. Games will be played on Thursday nights from 6:30 - 9:30pm. The cost is $25 and add $10 if you need a jersey. Registration forms are in the Resource Center. If you have any questions email Jase Bradford. |
Watter Bottles for Preschool Ministry
| Water bottles with LARGER spouts (and lids attached) are needed by the Preschool Ministry for a special event this spring. Please bring these to Dixie Walker if you have them to donate. |

Spring Break Wednesday Schedule
| We are scaling back our Wednesday activities during Spring Break March 17. There's no evening meal or choir. Preschool will have it's regular activities and 1st - 6th graders will meet in 110C. The youth will meet in the CLC. |
Venezuela Mission Trip Informational Meeting
| Sunday, March 14 after the morning service, there'll be an informational meeting regarding the Venezuela Mission Trip. Tentative dates for the trip this year are July 17 - 24 or July 24 - 31. If you're interested stop by the meeting to find out more information. |
