It is funded through the church budget and through the fees collected for services. Kevin R. Galey, PhD is an ordained minister of a Southern Baptist church and is a seminary- trained doctoral level marriage and family therapist. He is a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the state of Texas. He is also a Licensed LPC/LMFT Supervisor for the state of Texas. He is the director of the counseling ministry. Sarah Rohde is a master’s level marriage and Family therapist and is licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her undergraduate degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and a master’s Degree in counseling from Hardin Simmons University. All therapists are in good standing with the Texas LPC Board and members in good standing with the American Association of Christian Counselors.
All profess Christ as their Lord and Savior. Clients will be exposed to therapists who profess Christianity as a lifestyle. Therapy techniques will be consistent with this claim. Please let your therapist know if you do not wish to bring your faith into the counseling setting.
