Good News Club

Do you have boundless energy? Are you looking for ways to impact children and their families in your community? If so, volunteer today with Good News Clubs (GNC). GNC are one hour, one day per week programs that take place in seven local elementary schools. A very user friendly curriculum is provided and training is available. For more information, contact Tricia Jernigan at tricia@wedgwoodbc.org.
 
Here are the locations for the Good News Clubs.  ALL clubs will meet from 3:00-4:00.  Leaders will need to be there no later than 2:30 to help set up and greet kids.
 
Monday- Woodway Elementary
Tuesday- Westcreek Elementary
Wednesday- Bruce Shulkey Elementary
Friday- JT Stevens, Seminary Hills, South Hills, and Alice D. Contreras

Do you own a business?  Do you provide a service?  Would you like your church family to know about it?  Go to the "Resources" tab and click "Businesses".  There you can list your business or service and search for trusted individuals and businessess.  Remember, to submit your business listing, you'll need to login.  For questions or information, email media@wedgwoodbc.org.

A Matter of Perspective Marriage Conference

September 17 & 18, cost is $50 per couple.  Register in the Resource Center on Sunday's, or register online.  Limited childcare is provided and you must make reservations through Christy Ethridge, ext. 1440.

Fall Discipleship Classes
[Churchwide]

Do you want to know Christ better?... Want to be able to Make Him Known to your friends and neighbors?  This Fall our discipleship classes will target these two areas.  We'll be offering Experiencing God, by Henry Blackaby and Impacting Your Wherever evangelism class.  Sign up in your Sunday school class and in the Resource Center.  If you're wondering whether you should sign up for not, the answer is YES!

Don't worry if you want to take both classes, as both will be offered again in the Spring!
