Frequently Asked Questions (and Answers!)

Just Visiting

Q. What times are the services on Sunday?
A. Sunday morning worship services are at 9:00 & 10:35am.
Evening worship service begins at 6:00pm.

Q. What do I need to wear?
A. Wedgwood is a come-as-you-are church. On any Sunday morning you will find people dressed from casual to business professional.  You'll find men in both ties and T-shirts. You'll see women in both dresses and denims. In other words, don't worry about your clothes. You are welcome here and will fit in regardless of your fashion statement!

Q. What about my child/children?
A. You can take your younger preschoolers (3 and under) to their class in our Preschool Park. Children age 4 to 6 start off in the worship center. After the children's sermon (about 10 minutes into the service), our preschool leaders escort these children to Children's Church. You can pick them up after the service.

Q. Where do I park?
A. We encourage visitors to use our visitor parking located on the North side parking lot or near our CLC(gym). We also offer shuttles from nearby Southwest High School.

Q. What is the style of worship at Wedgwood?
A. The worship style is moderately contemporary, but the focus of worship is definitely Christ-centered and God-honoring. There is a freedom in worship at Wedgwood, where people feel free to express their love for God in an atmosphere of acceptance and grace.

Q. Will my online gifts be included on my Statement of Contributions?
A. Yes, they will be included.

Q. What if I'm not a Wedgwood member, but I want to make a donation? How would I be able to get a statement for tax purposes?
A. We are happy to receive your gift, above and beyond your normal giving to your own church home. Online giving is a perfect way for you to give. All givers receive a contribution statement regardless of membership status, assuming we have all of their correct address information.

Q. How can I get a receipt of my online gift?
A. You may print out your confirmation screen as your receipt, or you may also print out the confirmation email which is sent to you. Either is considered a valid receipt. But remember, your gift WILL appear on your regular statement of contributions as well!
